Aluminum, which is among steel and non-ferrous metals, which are considered iron-based metals, is among the most recycled products. The large variety of scrap metal and its inability to understand it increases the complexity of the recycling industry. It is among the priority targets to protect natural resources and reduce environmental pollution by reducing the wastes other than the metals to be separated during the separation as much as possible.
It is seen as a great advantage that metals can be recycled unlimitedly without losing their quality. Considering that the energy consumed for recycled metals is less than the energy used to extract the same metal from its source, its positive contribution to carbon dioxide emission is better understood. As a result of R&D studies for the zinc production sector, Hayat Zinc Recycling started its working life in 2 different facilities with zinc pools of 2 and 5 meters in length in 2015. During the time it served in the zinc production sector, it noticed that the recycling of the scrap metal that was revealed with the production could not be provided fast enough and decided to invest in a new waste and recovery facility in Akova.
Thanks to this modern facility established, the need for 600 tons of scrap ash per month started to be met.
